By the way, Im meeting with Lady Tibal but her father says i cant marry her if I dont have any fiefs and dont supporting king Fatlaus. Will it be possible to marry her after I create my faction?
10/01/2011 · Yes, you can besiege other castles/towns and take them over, and then request them to be given to you. If they are given to you, continue taking over more. If the king decides to give a fief that you took over to someone else, you get the option to defy your king, and you will get your own kingdom and keep all the fiefs you got.
You can’t besiege a castle already under siege, and until the besiegers engage in battle (they’ll ride into the castle on the map) you won’t get the dialogue to talk to the commanders or join the battle. Patience is a virtue my friend. If you absolutely must kill the time, you can set up camp in the Camp menu.

V is used in Warband to change the camera into free mode, so I guess V was intended for the original Mount and Blade.
